The La Paz Tourism Board (Baja California Sur) Has Launched A New Travel App

Yesterday I received notice that a new travel app has been launched for La Paz, Baja Califonia Sur. The app, which is free, offers the following features:

    • Where to Stay: This offers photos of resorts and resorts, along with contact info.

    • Things to Do: This section gives you activity suggestions and tour information.

    • Where to Eat: This is a directory of restaurants in La Paz. I hope some of my favorite places are listed. In case they’re not, check out La Choya for great coffee, McFisher for seafood, Pan D’ Les for baked goods, La Fonda for breakfast and Mercado Bravo to buy food and eat at some of the kiosks.

    • World’s Aquarium: Information about the Sea of Cortez. This offers photos and activity ideas.

    • Beaches: Beach information including photos and directions. My favorite beach north of La Paz is Balandra and to the south of Pescadero there is Los Cerritos.

    • Live in La Paz: This section gives you information about rental properties and second home options. Since I’m not able to access the app, I don’t know what else is on there, but I’d recommend that you visit the La Paz Gringo’s group on Yahoo and the Club Cruceros site, as well.

You can download the free Go LaPaz App here. Note that this is for the iPhone only. Android users are out of luck for now, as I found out to my disappointment when I went to download it. Hopefully the La Paz Tourism Board is planning an android version soon.
