Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to use Internet in Mexico. Much of that has been in restaurants and hotels with WIFI. It’s not much of an issue except for the signal strength, which can be spotty at times. If you plan to stay in Mexico for any length of time, here are some Internet options:

Well, I just found out my aircard does have transmission limitations. I managed to burn out a week’s worth of time left in a single night by trying to download some large files (I won’t do that again).

Lately, I’ve been getting a message on my cell phone about registering my number, which has left me puzzled, especially since I registered my phone when I bought it.

Overall, my favorite Internet service is the one available from telcel, which is a major carrier in Mexico. Some say it’s a monopoly, but I’m not sure of that. Anyway, I digress.

In an earlier post, I wrote about the importance (and challenges) of learning Spanish. For me, learning the language was important, for a couple of reasons. First, it was a sign of respect.
