Zacatecas is an amazing place, famous not only for its architecture, but it’s art. Today, Fernando took me to El Museo Rafael Coronel. A former convent, the museum is famous for its collection of masks from all over Mexico. I estimate the number of masks here to be upwards of 5,000.

I arrived in Zacatecas at around 8:00pm on Monday and I got a taxi to take me to the hotel (La Casona De Los Vitrales). One thing that immediately impressed me was the architecture of this place. The second thing that got my attention – hardly any cobblestones at all. The next surprise was my hotel. Only one word describes it – beautiful.
