The Trocadero restaurant is only a few short blocks away from where we live. We passed by it many times, had look at the menu and thought we’d like to go there for dinner. The restaurant specializes in tapas and we thought it would be a good way to go.

This mornng we went off in search of some more bread. Last year when I was living here, I’d heard about a local baker. When I finally found him, I bought some bread, and, very pleased, I went back for more, and more, and more.

Today was the last day of Carnaval, which had been going on in La Paz for the last 6 days. It was a major party with plenty of parades) that resulted in a large part of the Malecon being blocked off for the festivities. Over the coming days, I’ll be posting many of the clips [...]

During the process of getting settled, we had to decide where to place our laptops. Since we wanted to economize, we decided to use the kitchen table, which is a pretty good size, but it turned out to be a recipe for disaster…

We’re in a bit of transition right now (yeh, I know, which one?). Seriously, we landed in La Paz a week ago and we now have a new apartment. What makes things a bit interesting is that we’re now in the building where I was living last year. We’re on the same side, just one floor down. Sweet!
