This is one of my favorite beaches. And as you look at the video, you’ll see why. Balandra is just a short distance away from another excellent beach, Tecolote.

Today we went to Tecolote, a beautiful, long beach about 30 minute’s drive from here. It’s a pretty decent highway and a nice drive through a wide variety of terrain. Lots of cactus, towns, small beaches, a refinery on the water, and some open plains.
