This hot, bubbling concoction is my favorite drink, known locally as: “Champurrado,” though on the mainland it’s also known as “Atole.” It’s made with the same corn mix as one would use for tortilla’s, though in this case it’s mixed with hot milk, cinnamon and sugar.
