Find Out How to Protect Your Data with Encryption Tools

In past posts, I’ve written extensively about online security and offline, with your computer. A big problem for any computer user (not just travelers) is if your computer is stolen. Chances are it has a lot of valuable data and it could expose you to identity theft. One way of dealing with the problem is to pop out your hard drive and carry it with you wherever you go, but that’s not practical. A better solution is encryption.

In this free article by Bob Rankin, you’re given access to several free encryption tools you can use to protect your privacy.

Of these, the only one I’ve used is Hushmail, which uses encryption to protect its users. It came highly recommended by several of my colleagues.
