This morning I bought a cup of Champurrado from my favorite vendor right next to the bus station on the Malecon. It’s a tasty, hot drink and for those of you who are curious, here are the ingredients:

1/3 cup masa harina flour

3 cups of water, mixed with

2 cups of milk

1/4 teaspoon of salt

2 – 3 ounce circular tablets of either Abuelita or Ibarra chocolate.
