This is a quick clip of one of the many colectivo (collective) buses that you can find in La Paz. Last winter I used them in combination with taxis. I’d walk into el centro on Aquiles Serdan (roughly 12 blocks south), then catch one of these buses going out to Wal-Mart (the fee was 8 pesos).

After shopping I’d get a cab back to my apartment. Cost? About 80-100 pesos.
