Another Quick Trip to Rincon de Guayabitos

Filed under: Rincon de Guayabitos; Tagged as: Rincon de Guayabitos, Rincon de Guayabitos Mexico, Rincon de Guayabitos Nayarit, roadside memorials

Another quick trip with my friend Brooks. Again, I didn’t get much of a feeling for this town, but on a later trip the following year, I got to see more of it and found that I really liked the place.

A Day Trip to Punta de Mita

Filed under: Punta de Mita; Tagged as: Bucerias Nayarit, Bucerias Nayarit Mexico, Punta de Mita, Punta de Mita Nayarit, roadside memorials

This was a quick trip, only a few hours, most of which was spent on the beach. From what I can see, Punta de Mita is a good location for surfing, but I didn’t see much of the town to comment.

Adventures in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle

Filed under: La Cruz de Huanacaxtle; Tagged as: Bucerias, Bucerias Nayarit, Bucerias Nayarit Mexico, La Cruz, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle Nayarit, roadside memorials

La Cruz is only a five minute drive away from Bucerias, but the towns couldn’t be more different. La Cruz is much quieter, and in my opinion, older.

    My apartment in Bucerias

Filed under: Bucerias; Tagged as: roadside memorials

Life in my apartment in Bucerias. I encountered all sorts of challenges, noise, Internet issues, mordida (having to pay bribes) and water wars with my landlord.
